Fear RP
All characters must show realistic fear for their lives. While characters may not permanently die unless conditions are met, they must act as if life-threatening situations carry real consequences. Your character should not always act fearless or heroic—you can’t be a hero every time.
Key Guidelines:
You must consider injury, death, or legal repercussions when your life is on the line
Recklessly ignoring threats without fear is not permitted
Law enforcement have limited exceptions during active duty but must still act with reasonable caution
If your character has a legitimate backstory (e.g., ex-military, combat-trained), the Fear RP rule still applies—you must choose your actions wisely and realistically
Valid Situational Response: If an opportunity arises and you are not in immediate danger (e.g., attacker is distracted or disarmed), your character may choose to fight back.
Example of Proper Fear RP: Subject A is cornered in an alleyway by four gang members, all armed and pointing guns.
Subject A complies with all commands and remains cooperative, showing fear for their life and understanding the overwhelming threat.
Example of Reasonable Exception: Subject A pulls a knife on Subject B.
Subject B, an ex-military character, assesses the threat and engages in a fight only because the situation is survivable and not overwhelmingly one-sided.
