Weapons
To ensure immersive, fair, and realistic roleplay, the following rules apply to how weapons and tactical equipment may be used, equipped, and roleplayed on the server.
Small Weapons List (May be concealed on your person):
All Handguns
Broken Bottle
Flashlight
Hammer
Knife / Switchblade / Dagger / Machete
Knuckleduster
Molotov
Wrench
Mini SMG (no attachments)
Micro SMG (no attachments)
Large Weapons List (Must be pulled from a bag or vehicle):
All Shotguns
All Assault Rifles
All Sniper Rifles
All Heavy Weapons
Assault SMG
Compact PDW
SMG
Prohibited Weapon Behavior
Using external crosshairs is prohibited—it provides an unfair advantage and breaks immersion
Claiming a real weapon is an “airsoft” weapon in /me or /do and then firing real bullets will be considered FailRP
Actual airsoft guns are available for Trusted Civilians, however these do have restrictions on their own.
Airsoft guns WILL NOT be used to troll other Roleplayers or Law Enforcement. These weapons have a ragdoll effect similar to tasers only for the purpose of player feedback when using them. Abusing these weapons may result in loss of permissions. Some examples of abuse are, but not limited to:
Using an airsoft gun to "stunlock" a player, especially law enforcement or EMS, preventing them from responding or roleplaying.
Initiating with an airsoft gun to down someone and then switching to a real weapon for a free execution.
Using the ragdoll feature as a way to farm reactions, record goofy clips, or disrupt serious RP situations.
Running up mid-scene and unloading on someone, then saying, “Relax, it’s just airsoft.”
You can use these as an alternative to real firearms for various reasons with examples listed below:
A character with a felony conviction wants to carry "protection" without violating firearm laws. They carry an airsoft pistol, betting that the visual deterrent will be enough in most cases.
A low-level criminal uses an airsoft replica in a robbery or threat, trying to create fear without risking extra firearm-related charges if caught.
A character is filming a movie, prank show, or fake crime scene and uses airsoft guns as props.
A civilian is an airsoft hobbyist, modifying and collecting replica guns for weekend games or indoor tournaments.
A character takes a job as a mall cop or night watchman, strapping on an airsoft replica to look legit.
Restricted Equipment – LEO & Tactical Roles
Weapons and gear gained through whitelisted LEO or Tactical roles may only be used while on-duty and in uniform. Using these items while playing as a civilian is strictly prohibited.
Violation of this rule will result in:
A 24-hour ban
Possible removal from your Tactical Team / Marshal role
Tactical Team-Only Equipment List:
Sniper Rifles
Gas Launchers
Flashbangs
Armored or Weaponized Vehicles
Tactical Helicopters (e.g., Buzzard)
Note: This list may not be exhaustive. If you're unsure whether a weapon or vehicle is restricted to Tac Teams, please open a ticket or ask in #JDC-Tac-Teams.
