Banned Behaviors & Scenarios

Certain roleplay scenarios within DNRP require staff approval to maintain realism, balance, and server integrity. Below is a categorized list of what is allowed, what requires staff oversight, and what is strictly prohibited.

No Approval Required (Trusted Civilians Only)

Note: The staff team reserves the right to temporarily restrict or halt any scenario, even if approval is not required.

  • Hostage Situations

    • All members involved in a hostage scene (e.g., bank robbery) must be Trusted Civilians

    • Being “forced” into a robbery still counts as active participation

Require Approval from Moderator+

  • Stealing Police Vehicles

    • No approval required if you’re directly involved in a current civ-on-cop RP scene

    • Approval required for unrelated or staged theft (e.g., walking up to an idle cruiser with no prior context)

    • Storing or saving LEO vehicles for later use is prohibited

  • Animal Roleplay

    • Must remain realistic (no talking or human behavior)

    • Use approved animal ped models: Animal Ped List

  • Vehicle Towing for Theft/Repo Purposes

    • Using a tow truck to steal or repossess vehicles must be staff-approved

Require Approval from Senior Moderator+

  • Police Impersonation

    • See detailed Police Impersonation Rules for limits and guidelines

Require Approval from Staff+

  • Terrorism Roleplay

    • Includes bomb threats, mass attacks, or use of explosives

  • Private Security Roleplay

    • Includes security contractors and private security companies

    • See “Private Security” policy for details

  • Military Roleplay / Private Military Companies

  • Hitman, Assassin, or Bounty Hunter Roleplay

  • Capitol Raids or Attacks on Government Buildings

  • Attacking the Governor or Mayor

  • Bank Robberies

    • Trusted Civilians only

  • Gang Wars

Banned Scenarios (Not Allowed Under Any Circumstance)

  • Escaping Prison

    • Only allowed if Department of Corrections is active and you are a Trusted Civilian

  • Insane Psychopath / Sociopath Murders

  • Security Chases

    • Private security cannot pursue or flee like law enforcement

  • Sexual Roleplay or Nudity

  • Alien or Extraterrestrial RP

  • Violent crimes against San Andreas Fire & Rescue

    • Exception: Fire Marshals involved in LEO crossover

  • Suicide to Escape RP

  • Real-Life Political Roleplay

    • No crossover between real-world politics and in-game scenarios

  • Violent RP using Custom Peds

    • Custom peds must not be used for criminal violence

  • Creating Characters Based on Historical Racist or Political Figures

    • Exemption: Custom ped packs (not character names or identities)

  • School Shootings
