Random Deathmatching / Random Vehicle Deathmatching (RDM/RVDM)
Killing or running over another player without valid roleplay interaction or justification is not allowed. All violent actions must stem from prior interaction and have intent to roleplay the outcome.
RDM (Random Deathmatching): Defined as killing another player without proper cause, build-up, or intent to roleplay the scenario.
Example of RDM: Subject A walks up to Subject B—whom they’ve never interacted with—and shoots them without reason.
Valid Example of Roleplay Interaction Leading to a Kill:
Subject A previously witnessed Subject B assault his wife at a local store. Subject B fled the scene and later continued to harass her online, showing no remorse despite Subject A’s threats. Days later, Subject A finds Subject B and shoots him. This action is based on a clear chain of events and intent to roleplay the outcome.
RVDM (Random Vehicle Deathmatching): Defined as running over another player with no roleplay context or justification, then continuing as if nothing happened.
Example of RVDM: Subject A runs over Subject B in a Toyota Prius, then drives off with no interaction or roleplay acknowledgment.
Valid Example of Using a Vehicle to Kill (With Justification):
Subject A is sitting in his Toyota Prius listening to music when Subject B approaches wielding a knife. Subject B attempts to break the windshield. In fear for his life, Subject A locks his doors, then floors the car to escape, striking Subject B in the process. Subject A then calls 911 and stays in-character. This is a valid case of self-defense and fear-based reaction with intent to roleplay the consequences.
Note: Claiming that your character has mental health issues is not a valid excuse to break RDM/RVDM rules. All character actions must remain within the bounds of fair and realistic roleplay.
