Police Impersonation
Police impersonation refers to civilians pretending to be law enforcement by using police gear, vehicles, or authority to deceive others for personal gain, intimidation, or roleplay development. This type of RP is allowed only with prior staff approval (Senior Moderator+), and must follow strict realism guidelines.
What Counts as Police Impersonation:
Using emergency lights or sirens on a vehicle
Wearing police uniforms, vests, or badges
Identifying yourself as a law enforcement officer
Pulling over or stopping other players as if you're a real cop
Acting like an officer during traffic stops, investigations, or patrols
Trying to fool civilians into believing you're an officer to gain compliance, access, or status
What Police Impersonators Can Do (with Approval):
Conduct a fake traffic stop as part of a roleplay scenario
Use makeshift or "janky" equipment to simulate a wannabe or poorly resourced impersonator
Attempt to deceive civilians, not law enforcement
Engage in light deception without conducting actual police work
What Police Impersonators Cannot Do:
Respond to real emergency calls or assist in actual police scenes
Wear perfect, department-issued uniforms that mirror real LEO appearances
Drive a fully marked or perfectly replicated police cruiser
Roleplay that they stole or were delivered a complete, perfect police setup
Respond code 3 (lights/sirens) to calls or engage in high-speed pursuits pretending to be real LEO
Use impersonation as an excuse to do poor police work or cause disruption
Improper Impersonation Is NOT Allowed
If you’re using real police tools, outfits, and vehicles and act like a cop, you're not impersonating—you're just breaking LEO rules. Impersonation RP should involve effort to deceive subtly, not blatantly act like real police.
Example of Acceptable Police Impersonation:
A civilian installs a red-blue dash light bar on an old, blacked-out Crown Victoria with mismatched decals. Wearing tactical pants, a knock-off vest, and mirrored sunglasses, they pull over another civilian and pretend to be a cop for intimidation—before being called out for not having a badge or ID.
