Fail RP | Examples
The following actions are strictly prohibited and considered violations of DNRP server rules. All players are expected to maintain realistic, immersive, and fair roleplay at all times:
Character & Spawn Behavior
Leaving the spawn area with the default ped without changing your character
Failing to use /jailme after being sentenced to prison
Refusing to give a character name after fingerprinting during booking (verbal refusal is fine, but identity must be provided via database)
Claiming you can destroy your fingerprints
Failing to respond to /me, /do, /sv, or /sp commands to avoid RP
Failing to respond to such commands in a truthful, realistic, and accurate manner
Combat & Injury Roleplay
Using /ragdoll to fake death and then surprise rejoining a gunfight
Not roleplaying injuries (e.g., being shot multiple times and walking away unharmed)
Respawning while LEO or EMS is on scene
Using a taser to remove someone from a vehicle
Choosing to live or die after EMS treatment without basing the outcome on the realistic circumstances of the scene
Ignoring injury roleplay just because the medical script doesn’t generate injuries; you must still RP injuries with /me or /do
Jumping on or boarding a moving train
Vehicles & Customization
Spawning/despawning vehicles in public view without roleplay
Changing vehicle modifications or customization during a police pursuit
Changing your character’s clothing mid-pursuit without roleplay
Driving through police barricades/blockades
Using unrealistic or modified vehicles (including floating parts)
Registering or displaying offensive words or acronyms on vehicle license plates
Using the runway for driving or racing (except for aircraft and first responders who have RP’d shutting it down)
Abusing GTA physics, such as launching vehicles off mountains unrealistically
Commands, Animations, & Carry Mechanics
Using /carry, cuff, or drag on players:
Who are actively walking or running
Without their agreement
Without proper RP justification (e.g., they’re not incapacitated, tased, or surrendering)
Using /carry or drag to allow someone to bypass respawning or avoid going to a hospital
Using /me or /do to enforce unrealistic actions (e.g., closing non-existent doors)
Claiming a firearm is an airsoft weapon in /me or /do, then using it to fire real bullets
Lying about inventory (e.g., weapons, drugs) during a search
Law Enforcement Restrictions & Realism
Civilians using the LEO menu
Using police vehicles as criminals or non-LEOs (they are equipped with tracking devices that cannot be removed)
Unrealistically locking/unlocking doors you would not have access to
Only officers may have jail/station keys
Only bank managers may access bank doors
Using your phone while handcuffed or while in jail
Thermal Vision & Tech-Based RP
Thermal vision cannot be used to:
See through walls, water, glass, mountains, or solid objects
Track people underwater
It may only detect heat from open surfaces (e.g., a person standing outdoors)
Business & RP Spaces
Using a location (e.g., auto shop) that is already actively being used by other players for RP
If a location is in use, you must not interfere or use features like /repair independently
Always respect claimed RP spaces
